So what you're really saying is...

So, you probably killed an innocent man Mr. Perry.

http://www.wacotrib.com/news/content/news/stories/2009/10/01/10012009wac1001arsonex.html?cxtype=rss&cxsvc=7&cxcat=11

The truth of the matter is not totally known yet. However, you have proved yourself to be an epic ass. I understand that mistakes can be made during capital punishment. But the fact that you would destroy this committee when they don't give you the answer you want leads me to believe you are hiding something.

Attorney Sam Basset summed it up best when he said:
“In my view, we should not fail to investigate important forensic issues in cases simply because there might be political ramifications,”

I agree with Mr. Basset that the investigation needs to be completed. Shame on you Texas Governor Rick Perry. You are hiding something and we will find out.

Oh dear gods... WTF

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/bronx/nypd_cop_faces_assault_charges_for_UVWKC4C4EptS2C6DzEWEwM

Ok. I am sure I don't have the whole story, however, what I have read is incredibly disturbing.

"Perhaps an inexperienced officer might've pulled out his gun and shot him," MacDonald said.

The comments by this lawyer shows the state of our judicial system. The cop almost hits the guy and then breaks his baton over his face. The cop didn't arrest the guy after severely injuring him. He just drives away. I don't think I would have called 911 after being injured considering it was a cop that fucked my face up. However, I assume someone else called.

Cops in this country (and others) are abusing their power and are gaining more power. I seriously fear the state of our machine.

WTF

How is assaulting someone not criminal. Now picture this, someone walks up to you and steals your wallet. You chase after them and think you find them. You beat the crap out of the "alleged" thief. You were positive you had the right man. But, you were mistaken. You would be hauled off to jail and charged with a crime. However, under similar circumstances, it is not a crime. If you are a cop that is:

Really... WTF

From an article I read:

"It shouldn't be the parents' decision any more," said Two Rivers Police Chief Joseph Collins.

It doesn't matter what that decision is, it should always be up to the parents. When will people realize that the government doesn't belong in raising children. This cradle to grave phenomena is utterly ridiculous.

http://www.fox6now.com/news/witi-090819-drinking-with-parents-bill,0,4862641.story

Ok so I now this is fucked up

But... Please step out of the genepool. Oh wait, you already had four kids. I know it is a loss and is wrong, but how stupid do you have to be to "accidentally" die like this?

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/6581763.html

Besides, we don't fucking need DVD players in cars. Be a parent and discipline your kid. They don't need the constant distraction of TV in a car. There is no good reason to have these devices in cars.

Well

As I already know, no one reads this. So I truly have freedom of speech. I would like to say that I am tired of hearing of the corruption that runs so rampant in our system. I am tired of so called wars and fear mongering. I don't support the big brotherification of our society. However, I feel like the lone voice in the night. I know that there are people who feel the same but most are apathetic. I wonder where we are headed.

Seriously wtf

http://www.wacotrib.com/news/content/news/stories/2009/07/28/07282009wacradcliffe.html?cxtype=rss&cxsvc=7&cxcat=11

If the Chief of fucking police can't tell when someone is drunk he needs to be fired with his lackey of an officer. This reeks of trying to sweep something under the rug. And what a slimeball of a lawyer. If you were stupid enough to submit to the tests for any reason then suck it up and deal with the consequences. You are lucky you only damaged property.

How can we even began to consider burning books in this age. This is atrocious to say the least

WTF Joe

I am not a financial genius by any means. However, I know that spending money is not the way to prevent bankruptcy. But VP Biden's statement :

"“Now, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about, Joe? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’” Biden said. “The answer is yes, that's what I’m telling you.”"

just seems retarded. I loathe politicians.

WTF

Really people. You are all stupid.

Thursday, July 2, 2009

Ahh now another time for WTF

Really people? Really?

WTF does the DEA need to investigate Michael Jackson's death for. Even if he did overdose, who fucking cares. How much money is the government wasting investigating this one person's death. This is getting ridiculous.

WTF

Why is this guy still a cop?

http://carlosmiller.com/2009/06/29/dash-cam-proves-maryland-cop-to-be-a-boldface-liar/

This guy should be in jail. If they are still reviewing the case, then the cops are morons. I mean, they have already dropped the charges against the citizen. Who, by the way, should sue the shit out of them. This cop shouldn't even have a toy gun much less a real one. Why do we as a nation allow this to continue. Again, wtf?

Saturday, June 27, 2009

People are stupid

That's about all I want to say. I could give you example after example of the stupidity of people and the media's love of pushing stupid stories, but I will let you find them yourself. I have lost hope in what we call humanity.

Friday, June 19, 2009

Oh really...

In a recent article, a constitutional professor had the following to say concerning the FBI investigating porn:

"Today we can't imagine authorities at any level of government — local, state or federal — being involved in obscenity prosecutions of this kind," said Mark Weiner, a constitutional law professor and legal historian at Rutgers-Newark School of Law.

I would like to point out that this is "regular" porn and not something illegal. But the real point of this post is that although the authorities aren't prosecuting regular porn they are still governing our lives in ways that should never be. They regulate everything we put into our bodies and most of the things we read and watch and are not releasing that grip anytime soon.

Big Ass WTF

So seriously, the fact that this is even an issue is worrying.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_internet_background_checks

This is such a blatant violation of privacy that is should never have been enacted. The fact that the city council allowed this to happen shows that they do not have a shred of intelligence among them. Then they say they are looking to change the policy. I just really need to ask. WTF?

Baseball and congress

Why the hell is congress so concerned about baseball. Who gives two shits if these athletes use steroids. Yes, it is illegal. However, isn't it a lot more wrong for congress to waste the peoples money by having congressional hearings on baseball and steroids. Really? Do we not have more important things to worry about. I swear. This is not news. This is not important. Enough is enough.

This weeks wtf

I recently read a comment to a news article. The person said:

" If being "made prisoners livving in a police state" will keep my kids safe, then I'll deal......"

How retarded can you be. If you give up freedom for security you deserve neither. Deal.

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

This weeks wtf

So, I know you are waiting patiently. Well actually no one is waiting for this but still. In Alice Tx sieved money has been used for years to pay for all sorts of things. And like the senator in this video states it is essentially highway robbery. The wtf moment is seen on this video

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2009/05/27/tuchman.tx.forfeiture.cash.cnn

The ex DA says he wanted to settle a case to get rid of it. That reeks of hiding something. Then he says as far as he is concerned nothing is wrong with using that money to give secretaries raises essentially. He says he sees nothing wrong with it? No conflict of interest? He should not be the one to make these decisions. This shows a serious flaw in the system. But we already know those exist. Still, sometimes you ask yourself, wtf?

Why to write

I realize no one reads this, but I will still strive to update it more often.

Wednesday, May 13, 2009

Will it ever end.

As I get more comfortable I like to write about meaningful things. Today, I would like to talk about the other war. The one waged on our own citizens.

http://www.kxxv.com/global/story.asp?s=10351675

In the above article, the person arrested is talked about by her neighbors. They said this:

Neighbors were stunned to find people on their block were selling roughly $20,000 worth of (weeds) a month.

"Very nice to my kids, never hand any problems," said a neighbor who did not want to be identified. "Totally stunned. I've known her five years and never would have thought anything at all."

The cops said this:

Myself and Anthony Malott in Bosque County made a pact to the people that we're going to put an end as much as we can to the drug use around lake Whitney area," said Hill County Sheriff Jeffery Lyon.

These are the hardened criminals we spend money taking to jail and busting. Who was hurt in the long run by these arrests? Think about that. You obviously haven't succeded in this war yet we should rethink the strategy.

And today's wtf

Today's wtf is a compilation wtf. First let's start with a small town in Texas spending 29 hours searching for a man. They found him alive and well in a bookstore. Then the law enforcement walked away. Although I respect the right to privacy and that the man didn't do anything wrong, ask some fucking questions. We should not be paying for this shit.

Seriously ppl wtf

And today's seriously wtf is not brought to you by KFC

The following is in response to this utterly not news article.

http://www.cnn.com/2009/LIVING/05/08/oprah.kfc.coupon/index.html

People were given free coupons for one of KFC's new sandwiches. Well, Oprah in her divine wisdom promoted the coupons on her show. Consequently, the interwebz was hit with a flood of her viewers demanding nomz. When the horde hit the KFC's problems were of course the normal. The stores did not plan on Oprah waving coupons around in front of her target audience, a bunch of lazy tv watching fucks. One actually said this:

"I'm a big girl," Shannon Edwards told CNN affiliate WBAL-TV in Baltimore, Maryland, on Thursday after she was turned away from a KFC. "I like to eat. So I'm kind of disappointed I have to go to McDonald's now."

Oh lordy no, not McDonalds. How about you take your fat ass home and eat a salad. The diet coke does not help. Some food expert, Charlotte Beal, a food and beverage consumer strategist at the consumer insights firm Iconoculture actually, said this:

"It's a well-known fact that Oprah's been transparent about her own struggles with weight and diet so when she partners with a company that's trying to offer a healthier product, consumers really listen."

Well, Charlotte, I don't know if you can read, but big girl's need their food (see above). I do not think they are looking for the healthy options. Seriously, wtf makes this news.

Everybody's favorite wtf for today

http://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/20090507/ARTICLES/905079854/1350

Today's wtf moment is proof that even higher education is subjected to a big dose of stupid. In Santa Rosa Junior college the bureaucracy is decided to kick stupid up a notch by threatening to sue people for their email address. An official at the college had this to say:

“Let’s say I’m a student named Mary Kay Rudolph and I have a Yahoo account,” said Mary Kay Rudolph, vice president of academic affairs. “But, instead of asking to be mkrudolph@yahoo.com I am mksrjc@yahoo.com. Or, I am santarosajuniorcollege2@yahoo.com. Those are both illegal.”

Really? Last time I checked, we still had the freedom to say what we want. That freedom of speech applies to writing as well. I honestly don't think this college has a leg to stand on. I wish that this case would get national attention to show how utterly retarded this is. An illegal email address. I think I shall create a plethora of SRJC accounts just because I can.

Do the administrators at this college really have all this extra time to create this unnecessary situation? I think that they don't have enough work if this is how they spend their time.

Thursday, May 7, 2009

And today's wtf moment...

http://www.kxxv.com/Global/story.asp?S=10320200

Really, wtf. This cop broke the law. Not only is he allowed to continue being a cop but he gets backpay. Although I disagree with the law, if you are going to enforce it for one enforce it for all.

Yar... Don't touch the booty

No this is not about butts. This is about our wonderful government taking care of its citizens. In a small town in Texas it appears that the justice system is a profitable business. For once, this story has the mainstream medias attention.

http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/05/06/texas.police.seizures/index.html

I think the suit should go on so that the truth of the matter is out there for the public to see. I am reticent to believe anything the media says, however, the fact that the property is miraculously returned after the story ran seems suspect. Oh well, they are innocent until proven guilty, right?

Define Worst

There will be about 1,700 U.S. cases of the new H1N1 flu, aka "swine flu," in the next four weeks under a worst-case scenario, according to a research team's new simulations.

So 1700 ppl are warranting a 1.5 billion dollar injection for vaccines?

Wow just wow.

And now another seriously wtf moment.....

This wtf moment is brought to you by the lovely Texas politicians. Now, politicians in general provide a lot of wtf moments. I do not know if the reason is because they have the media's attention or not. Nor do I really care.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090501/ap_on_sp_co_ne/us_bcs_championship_congress;_ylt=Aod9aOuRFkndfj8suK7xE1Ss0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTJ1Z2JmazZxBGFzc2V0A2FwLzIwMDkwNTAxL3VzX2Jjc19jaGFtcGlvbnNoaXBfY29uZ3Jlc3MEY3BvcwM5BHBvcwMxOQRzZWMDeW5fdG9wX3N0b3J5BHNsawNsYXdtYWtlcmNvbXA-

That is the article that talks about football in a house hearing. Seriously, wtf. Is this what we pay you guys for. Is this really looking out for our interest. It is the same when congress holds hearings on steriods abuse. Is this really what our forefathers wanted from our elected officials. I could give a shit less which athlete is on what. That is their choice.
As for the BCS, yes it is fucked up. But this is not the business of the government. Needless to say there are bigger issues.

So Republican Rep. Joe Barton, seriously wtf?

Serously ppl wtf

Everyday I have to stop and ask myself, seriously wtf people. I can understand a lot of things people do but sometimes I am flabbergasted. And then I wonder how these people survive. Is evolution flawed in humanity's case. Are we circumventing it by helping the stupid and inept survive? And I have to say that yes we are. We have people who flock to see the virgin Mary in a fucking food griddle. Seriously? WTF? Why don't you people have jobs. This case is hardly the worse only the most recent that I have seen. And that is my seriously wtf for today.

Most retarded

http://ssdp.org/ads/Harmless%201.jpg

1st the only reason people get arrested is because you made it illegal.
2nd all the taxpayers dollars went to arrest people. No one forced you to spend it.
3rd Again, because you made it illegal. The taxpayers could make money instead of letting criminals get it.
4th. STFU already. No one is buying it. Except the sheeple.

Let the telemarketers be your entertainment

So, I have been getting harassing calls from the cardholder services company. And no, I do not owe them any money. Looking this up on the most trustworthy of all sources, the internet, I found that a lot of people get these calls.

It starts out saying something along the lines of "We are calling to lower your interest rate" or some jazz. I know I don't have an account from call services so I was a little angry. I pressed 2 to not have them call again, but I don't think that worked.
Then I pressed 1 to talk to a real person. However, as soon as you utter anything about not calling, talking to a supervisor, or anything that deviates from their script; they hang up.
That in itself would not be that bad. Unfortunately, I have also been cursed at before the inevitable.
"Just hang up asshole"
"Motherfucker"
"Fuck off"

Apparently, since I don't have their phone number, no caller id, and their real name is never said, I can not report a violation to the Big Brother.
Well, when they cursed at my child that pushed me too far. Now when they call, I like to play pranks. I have only started but the first was awesome. It shows me that I need to practice my acting.
I answer the phone speaking spanish. The lady on the phone (white girl) kind of paused and asked if I could speak english. I answer "Si"
"Can you answer in English?"
"Si," I say hiding my snicker.
"Hablas ingles," in horrible Spanish.
"Si, yes. Hablo ingles y spanish. Por que why?" I say. My spanish is not that bad but hers is laughable.
"Do you understand in english?"she queries, obviously tired of this game.
"Yes"
"Hi, my name is Kelly"
"Hola, Kelly" in a most cheerful tone.
Click. Damn that ended too soon. Oh this is going to be great.

Retarded

Sen. Julie Rosen, R-Fairmont, said: “Marijuana is not an herbal medicine. It is a gateway to drugs. I don’t even know why we are debating this!”

She said her visits to drug treatment centers demonstrated that.

“These addicted people went from tobacco to pot to cocaine to meth. That’s a fact.”

from: http://minnesotaindependent.com/33703/medical-marijuana-legislation-passes-minnesota-senate

I have to ask one question of Julie. Do you know that's a fact? No, you don't. I seriously have to question your intelligence.

War on people

They say we have a war on drugs. That is one of the most asinine things I have ever heard. Even as I grow out of my "partying" years I still realize the intrinsic truth. I do not just lash out against this war so I can have a staple of party items (which I don't use :P). I lash out because it is wrong. Like all prohibition, it just gives the power to the people willing to take the risk. Some of these people are criminals. History is repeating itself in the United States with prohibition. The only problem is that we have succesfully pushed most of the violence and powerful criminals towards South America.

We all know what great human rights protectors governments are:

When will Americans stop being so apathetic over all the bullshit they are seeing.

Orlando Police Chief Val Demings

Orlando Police Chief Val Demings. What can I say about police these days. I don't know if it is just me but I am not to fond of our officers who are supposed to "protect and serve". I believe this police chief is endemic of our problems. She is suing a blogger. Violation of the blogger's 1st amendment rights, nah.

Her lawyer had the audacity to say this:

“Truth is not always a defense,” Winthrop said. “I hope he [Harris] gets himself a really good lawyer,” he said.

Another lawyer blogged about the subject and had this to say:

The purpose of the First Amendment is to ensure the unfettered exchange of ideas among the American people. See Roth v. United States, 354 U.S. 476, 484 (1957). Florida courts have held that the First Amendment requires neither politeness nor fairness. S

The entire article can be found here:

http://carlosmiller.com/2009/04/28/orlando-police-chief-threatening-to-sue-blogger-who-is-critical-of-her/

To be quite honest, I would not trust most police officers with a sharpened crayon, much less a gun. The cases of police officers lying to the court systems are turning up all the time. In my own interactions with the law, I seem to have verified that we are essentially running a business through law enforcement.

"Oh you speed? Well, since we have to watch for speeders to protect people, you need to pay us now. No, well go to jail. Pay to take this class and it is off your record."

Don't believe the power of money in our judicial system? Well, we have judges being caught sending kids to a juvenile detention center for kickbacks. We have some of the worst laws on the books right now that allow this stuff to happen.

If you get a court appointed lawyer (at least in my town), they always want you to plead and get probation. Our judicial is a capitalist dream.
In my town they are putting up traffic cameras. The people who get the revenue and foot the bill is a private company. There is no doubt that they will make a good amount of money. There are further details of the story but it rings the same in each city they do this in.

I know that I am ranting and changing topics but I can do that. :P

So, now we have stupid cops, stupid lawyers, and judges who can't see what we are doing to our own people. When is this going to end.

Idiotica

So, I listen to this morning radio show as I get ready for work. Normally I could care less what they say, it is just something to listen to. This morning they were talking about American Idol and discussing the people who have been eliminated.
I could give a fuck less about American Idol, but it was one of the Fox 44 "Foxy" Ladies that made a "wow" comment. She said that she felt some of the contestants should have been gone earlier based on their looks. She said the idol should be perfect. Saying something about Anoop's clothing didn't match his singing style.
Well the last time I looked, fucking Zombie Jesus was not back on Earth. No one is perfect and it is this thought process that annoys me. These people are supposed to be singers not fucking models. It brings to mind the hysteria that is created by the Scottish lady in the media. You all know how I mean.

Cops on Patrol

So, there is an interesting site that follows police and photographers interactions. Photography is Not a Crime — It’s a First Amendment Right

I don't understand what has happened to this country's 1st amendment rights. How are officers able to get away with the things that I see in the News.

Why is this never covered in the mainstream media. I am worried about the direction of our country. Just like during "Red Scare" we are willingly giving away our freedom for security. In reality we are going to end up with neither.

I see history repeating itself in many ways in the current world scene. I only hope we wake up in time.

President Barack Obama said Tuesday the United States lost "our moral bearings" with gruesome terror-suspect interrogations.

Why are we still terrorizing our own citizens then.

Perez Hilton

Why is it that a person like Perez Hilton has power. I disagree with Miss California's thoughts on gay marriage, but I at least admire her honesty.

I think that Perez took the issue to far with his interviews. Saying Miss America represents the United States is ludicrous. Nobody looks to her for advice on political activities. Oh my the situation is heating up in the Gaza strip.

"Mr. President, what should we do?"
"Get me Miss America."

Ok, so her comments were wrong, but that is her right too.

But Perez says Miss USA should represent all Americans? WTF.
Come on how can a beautiful, most likely well off girl represent underprivileged children in the rough neighborhoods or the elderly in nursing homes.

Why do we have to please everyone all the time. Trying to please everyone will only lead to failure.

Living for everyone else only makes you a slave. PC is dead.
