Will it ever end.

As I get more comfortable I like to write about meaningful things. Today, I would like to talk about the other war. The one waged on our own citizens.

In the above article, the person arrested is talked about by her neighbors. They said this:

Neighbors were stunned to find people on their block were selling roughly $20,000 worth of (weeds) a month.

"Very nice to my kids, never hand any problems," said a neighbor who did not want to be identified. "Totally stunned. I've known her five years and never would have thought anything at all."

The cops said this:

Myself and Anthony Malott in Bosque County made a pact to the people that we're going to put an end as much as we can to the drug use around lake Whitney area," said Hill County Sheriff Jeffery Lyon.

These are the hardened criminals we spend money taking to jail and busting. Who was hurt in the long run by these arrests? Think about that. You obviously haven't succeded in this war yet we should rethink the strategy.
